Recruiting now!

We are looking for full and part-time Support Workers and Senior Support Workers to join our friendly team in Crowborough, supporting adults with learning disabilities.

Both roles provide practical support including:

  • assistance with leisure activities like cooking or gardening
  • help with personal care
  • teaching new skills.

Locations

The roles are based at two new learning disability services in Crowborough: Hookstead and The Ferns.

Hookstead day centre is open 9 to 5pm, four days a week. The Ferns provides 24/7 accommodation and support, so a wider range of hours are available, including weekends.

We offer opportunities for development and career progression, plus all the training you need to create a successful career in our learning disability service. If you have a can-do attitude, enjoy working with people and want to make a difference to someone’s life, we would love to hear from you.

Support workers in the Relief Team

We also have support workers who are part of our highly-motivated team of Relief Staff. You have control over when you work, so this arrangement often suits people who want to get a foot in the door, have other family commitments or maybe studying. Some of the work is pre-planned and some may be last minute. For an information pack, email the Relief team.
