About the Role

Our administrators play a key role in supporting the Council - helping us provide a better service to the people of East Sussex. You will be joining the Inclusion and Special Educational Needs and Disability (ISEND) Service within East Sussex and will be part of the admin team supporting the services within the Intervention and Support Department.

The role will involve supporting four different services and therefore the ability to multitask and work well under pressure, whilst still following required processes, is essential. Strong Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail and accuracy, flexibility and the ability to use your own initiative is key. You will also have excellent communication skills and a real passion for delivering excellent customer service as telephone work is a large part of the role, where you will be the first point of contact for service users and other professionals. This is a varied and demanding role which offers excellent opportunities to expand on existing knowledge and skills by working with an experienced administration team and taking advantage of the training opportunities available within the Council.

There are 3 full time permanent posts available. One will be based at County Hall in Lewes and two at St Mark's House in Eastbourne.
