Lewes household waste recycling site

Latest

During lockdown all household waste recycling sites (‘tips’) remain open to the normal opening hours. With social distancing measures in place, there may be delays and queues into the sites. Vans (less than 3.5t only) are permitted on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays only. Van drivers must bring proof of address with two forms of ID (driver’s licence or recent utility bill) and will be subject to new trade waste inspections.

The site is open as follows:

Monday to Sunday: 9am to 4pm

Bank Holidays: Open usual hours (closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day)

Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve: Close at 1pm

Please check back to this page for any changes to opening hours. Please don’t rely on the opening hours displayed in Google Maps as this may not be up to date with the correct times.
