We expect parents/carers to prioritise their child’s transport over other commitments.
Parents or carers will have to pay a contribution towards the costs. The charge for this school year is £570. An invoice will be sent and payments are usually made in 10 monthly instalments.
If the family is low income the contribution is halved to £285 per year. Low income is assessed as being eligible for Free School Meals
A further risk assessment of the child's needs will be undertaken if they are determined eligible for travel assistance.
