Annual Reviews

1. What is an Annual Review?

Statements* or Education, Health and Care Plans must be reviewed every year.

The annual review is to look at the child or young person’s progress and to see if the plan is still needed or if it needs to be changed. It is also a chance to plan ahead for the next stage of education, training or adulthood.

*Statements are being replaced with Education, Health and Care Plans. Some children will transfer this year and some will transfer the following year – find out when your child will transfer.
