Join i-go, the children’s disability register

All local authorities in England have a duty to keep a children’s disability register.

The register is a list of children and young people in East Sussex who have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The information helps us build a picture about the need for services and can help us with planning.

As a thank you, when you join the disability register you will get a free i-go leisure discount card, which gives you special offers and help with planning your visits to local leisure attractions. You can also choose to get our monthly email newsletter with SEND information, Parent Voice.

Your information

The i-go team, part of East Sussex County Council’s Children’s Services, manage the children’s disability register. The team hold your personal details securely under strict Data Protection laws and do not share them – see our Privacy Notice.

Your consent

If you are nearly 16, and able, you can give your own consent.

We remove your information from the register when you reach age 26. If you wish to leave the register before then, email the i-go team to let us know.
