Services and activities

FREE activities to support your child’s learning and development 

  • Early Years Play and Learn sessions -  for families with children under-five with concerns about development in the prime areas such as play and interactions.
  • Small Beginnings - a group for families concerned about their child’s development in communication, interactions and / or play skills.

Free antenatal support is available for all first-time parents across East Sussex.

Family Learning courses

Family Learning courses are free for parents and carers. They help you give your child a positive start in life. They also support your child's learning and development at home and school.

We offer a range of courses both virtually and within centres.

  • Family First Aid (virtual)
  • Parent and Child Signing (virtual)
  • Money Matters (virtual)
  • Employability (virtual)
  • Fun with phonics and maths
  • Story sacks (a bag containing a book and related items. They help promote early literacy skills.)
