Childminder Start-Up grant
The Childminder Start-Up grant is a national grant provided to new childminders to help cover the costs associated with registering as a childminder.
The deadline for applying for this grant is approaching, but you will still be eligible to apply for the grant as long as you finalise registration with Ofsted or a childminder agency by 31 March 2025 and you apply for the grant within 2 months of registering. And you may still be eligible if your childminder registration has been delayed due to registration checks.

Wraparound Care grant
Are you new to offering childcare before and after school or expanding your current places? You could be eligible for a £600 Wraparound Care Grant to help cover start-up costs.
Wraparound care runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am before school and until 6:00pm after school. You can provide this flexible care from:
· your home
· a nursery
· a community centre
· or partner school.
