E-learning: Infection prevention and control

We have developed an Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) e-learning course on our e-learning pool.

This course can be used as an introduction to the subject or as a refresher to check your knowledge.

It is suitable for people working in a range of social care roles in the community, including (but not limited to) personal assistants, care staff, unpaid carers and volunteers.

Online training: Infection prevention and control

This 'Infection prevention and control' training has been developed by Sussex CCGs. It's aimed at people working in Sussex based community care homes, hospices, domiciliary care, and personal care assistants.

The training covers causes of infection, cleaning methods, waste disposal and infection control laws and policies.

It lasts 1.5 hours and there are several dates to choose from throughout the year.

Skills for Care training

Skills for Care has developed COVID-19 essential training. This is targeted and fully funded support for providers and personal assistants to meet the essential aspects of core and mandatory training.
