For the fifth year running the RAF has invited East Sussex foster children, their carers and families to have exclusive access to its exhibition area at the Airbourne event in Eastbourne.
It means that more than 200 foster families will be invited into the RAF Village area on the exhibition lawns before it is opened to the general public.
They will be treated to breakfast from the mobile catering unit and will get exclusive access to the exhibitions and displays including the RAF's Hawk jet, an 80% scale model of a Chinook helicopter, and a Spitfire.
The young people will also get the chance to meet and chat to the RAF personnel taking part in the Airbourne event.
Cllr Meg Stroude, East Sussex County Council's Lead Member for Children and Families said: “We are extremely grateful to the RAF. Every year they invite our foster families to this event and give them this early exclusive access to the display area.
“I know from previous years that it's something that the young people and their families love to do and thoroughly enjoy.”
