Scaffolding will be going up around Lewes's historic Cliffe Bridge on Monday 24 May to allow essential repair work to the railings and metal footway structure. Repair work will begin in earnest on 1 June and is due to take four weeks, but the bridge will remain open to pedestrians and vehicles throughout.
