The library, in Richmond Road, will be closed during the week 7 to 12 June 2010. East Sussex County Council is improving access to the library by providing new doors and replacing the foyer.
Customers will be able to use other County Council Libraries during this period or use the online and telephone services to reserve and renew items – visit our libraries section or telephone 0345 60 80 196.
Library members will also be able to borrow additional items during the period leading up to the closure.
The County Council would like to apologise to all customers for any inconvenience that may be caused during the temporary closure. The library will re-open on Tuesday 15 June 2010.

- Langney Library in Langney Shopping Centre – which is open on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 9.30am to 5pm and Friday 9.30am to 2pm.
- Eastbourne Library, Grove Road, Eastbourne – which is open Monday to Thursday 9.30am to 6.30pm, Friday 10.30am to 6.30pm and Saturday 9.30am to 5pm.
- Bexhill Library, Western Road, Bexhill on Sea – which is open on Monday 9.30am to 1pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9.30am to 6.30pm, Wednesday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 9.30am to 5pm.
