The summer 2010 version of the leaflet is now available and includes details of cycle training and bike maintenance courses, charity rides and events and a variety of highly enjoyable and scenic guided rides throughout the East Sussex countryside.
The programme is produced by the County Council and is aimed at encouraging the new or less experienced cyclist to enjoy this healthy form of exercise and explore the county.
This year's programme contains a wide variety of rides short and long distance, on-road and off, and for children and adults alike. The leaflet also includes a contacts list for more information and lots of helpful hints and tips on how, when and where to get the most of out cycling.
Councillor Matthew Lock, Lead Member for Transport and Environment said "I am very proud of the new guide and the programme of rides and events which will hopefully inspire people to get out into our beautiful East Sussex countryside this summer. With such a range of things to do, people should be able to find a ride or course that suits their cycling ability and it is also very good fun."
