Connexions 360 is the new site designed by East Sussex County Council aimed at 11- to 19-year-olds which holds a whole host of information with tips on travel, employment and careers, education, money, things to do and much more.
The site was set up to give young people the information they need and want in a way that appeals to them. Local young people have had input into how the site looks, what it contains and even the name.
Having gone live on 28 October Connexions 360 is packed with real life stories, fun quizzes and games and some great competitions including the chance to win a Wii! The games console is up for grabs if you can answer a simple question. Other competitions include MyDentity, where young people can win the chance to work with a top illustrator as they design graphics and illustrations for the site and other Connexions 360 literature.
Councillor Meg Stroude, East Sussex County Council's Lead Member for Children and Families, said: "This website is a great way for young people to find out about what's going on in their area, keep up to date with things that matter to them and have a whole range of information at their fingertips. The site looks great and because young people have been involved along the way it meets their needs perfectly."
