Library services – young people to be asked for their views

Friday 28 September 2007

Children and young people across East Sussex are to be asked for their views on library services.

The County Council is conducting the survey during October to find out how children and young people currently use their library and what they think about the services on offer.

A questionnaire is available in all council libraries and if children are unable to complete it themselves, their parent or guardian or a member of library staff can help them.

Councillor Bob Tidy, Cabinet Member for Community Services said: “Our consultation aims to find out what young people think of our libraries. We want to get as many views as possible to help us improve and develop the services we offer to children and young people in the future.”

The survey is being conducted in libraries throughout England during September and October 2007.
