Views wanted on traffic-calming

Wednesday 22 August 2007

Residents are being asked for their views on a proposed traffic calming scheme in Westham.

East Sussex County Council presented the plans to local people at a parish council meeting earlier this month and an exhibition has now been set up at the council offices at the Amenity Centre in Ardur Drive, Stone Cross.

The proposed measures in High Street include two new mini-roundabouts, a puffin crossing and a traffic island.

Residents are invited to fill out a questionnaire on the scheme, which is available alongside copies of the plans at the exhibition or on the Council website at /yourcouncil/consultation/default.htm .
