East Sussex County Council has developed an interactive website that lets people search for roadworks anywhere in the county. By simply clicking on a map or entering a location, you can now plan your route so you don’t get caught out by unexpected roadworks.
The site features up to the minute information about roadworks taking place across East Sussex. This includes who is carrying out the work and how long it will last, plus contact details to find out more. Email and text message updates will also be available early next year.
By giving people more choice when planning their journey, the County Council hopes to reduce congestion on the roads, minimise delays and take some of the stress out of motorists’ journeys. Visit Roadworks in East Sussex.
