People using the directory, which now contains 57 traders, can feel confident that these businesses are completely honest and reliable and they won’t be cheated by the small minority of bogus traders who can cause considerable grief with their unscrupulous tactics.
The businesses, who have passed a comprehensive list of checks that qualifies them to use the ‘Buy with Confidence’ logo, received their certificates from County Council Chairman, Councillor Daphne Bagshawe at a ceremony in Eastbourne on Monday (December 13).
She said:” I am absolutely delighted to see the number of businesses on the Approved Traders Directory growing. The directory is an excellent reference point for anyone wanting work to be done. They can be confident in the knowledge that the businesses are bone fide and have the trading standards seal of approval.”
The services covered by the further 28 businesses include cleaning, roofing, security, furnishings, decorating and domestic appliance repair.
