Some Rider bus services were reviewed before the current contracts expired in July 2010. We asked for comments from regular or occasional users of these services, so we could learn more about the journeys they made.
This helped us to understand how the services are used and any changes that we needed to make to meet the needs of the local community.
The services affected were:
- 226, 227, 228 and 229 in Crowborough
- 126 between Eastbourne and Seaford
- 245, 246 and 249 around Uckfield.
The closing date for this consultation was Friday 15 January 2010.

What happened as a result of this consultation
Having received and analysed the comments and the data collected from on-bus passenger surveys, we made a number of changes to these services from 26 July 2010. These changes are set out in the second document below.
