Milward Road and Manor Road, Hastings – traffic calming

We asked for your comments about our proposals to introduce traffic calming along Milward Road and Manor Road, Hastings that will:

• slow down traffic
• provide improvements for pedestrians.

Consultation results

Your comments showed support for the scheme, which favoured an amended version of Option 2. Both the consultation drafts and final versions of the designs can can be downloaded, below.

Further information and next steps

Funding is available for this scheme and the traffic regulation orders are being advertised. Construction of the scheme is expected to begin in September 2011.
