Kingston village traffic calming

Kingston Parish Council proposed a scheme to reduce the speed limits in Kingston village. On behalf of the Parish Council, we asked for your comments on the proposals, including:

  • a new 20mph zone along Wellgreen Lane and Ashcombe Lane, including speed cushions, flat top road humps and narrowed entrances to the new zone
  • a new 20mph limit in The Street
  • an extension of the 30mph limit in Ashcombe Lane to the north of Kingston Ridge.

Construction of the scheme

The scheme was completed in summer 2009.
