Supporting vulnerable people – consultation on new services

Earlier in the year we asked your for views on introducing new services to help vulnerable people live independently in the community. The plans are outlined in the consultation document below.

What happens next

The consultation period closed in August 2008. The Supporting People partnership have considered all the responses and published the results below. Your responses from this survey will be used to develop the specification for the new service(s).

Proposed timetable

  • Tenders for new contracts are advertised in October 2008.
  • Contracts awarded in February 2009.
  • New service(s) will start in June 2009.
