These consultations closed on 31 January 2008.

Schools, local authority colleagues and the public were all asked to comment on the following questions:

  • Foundation stage provision at The South Downs Community Special School, Eastbourne
Should we extend the age range of the foundation stage provision to provide an assessment unit for three to four year olds?

  • Specialist Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) provision at Heathfield Community College
Should we establish specialist provision to cater for up to 10 young people between the ages of 11 and 18 with high-functioning autism (Asperger's Syndrome)?

  • Specialist Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) provision at Manor Primary School, Uckfield
Should we establish specialist provision to cater for up to six young people between the ages of four and 11 with autism?
