Consultation results
Results showed considerable local support for the scheme and construction took place in January 2009.
A plan showing the final designs for the scheme can be downloaded below.
The scheme has been amended to take account of residents' concerns, particularly with regard to parking. The full results of this consultation are available in the meeting minutes of the Lead Member for Transport and Environment on 6 October 2008 .

We asked for your comments about proposals to introduce a traffic calming scheme along Parkstone Road, Hastings which aims to slow down traffic and improve facilities for pedestrians.
We receive lots of requests for traffic calming schemes in East Sussex. Find out more about how we prioritise schemes on our page about traffic calming.
