Results showed considerable local support for the scheme and construction took place in January 2009.

The scheme has been amended to take account of residents' concerns, particularly with regard to parking. The full results of this consultation are available in the meeting minutes of the Lead Member for Transport and Environment on 6 October 2008 .

Background

We asked for your comments about proposals to introduce a traffic calming scheme along Parkstone Road, Hastings which aims to slow down traffic and improve facilities for pedestrians.

Viewing the plans

There was an exhibition of the plans at William Parker Sports College in July 2008. After the exhibition, plans were displayed at Hastings Town Hall. You can also download and view the plans below.

The deadline for comments was Friday 1 August 2008.
