Traffic calming in Brodrick Road, Eastbourne

We asked for your comments about proposals to introduce a traffic calming scheme along Brodrick Road in Eastbourne which aims to:

• slow down traffic
• improve facilities for pedestrians.

The proposals include two new mini-roundabouts, junction changes and road markings.

The scheme was constructed in September 2008.

Consultation results

Comments received showed good support for the scheme, with some amendments. A summary of the results of this consultation is available in the minutes of the Lead Member for Environment and Transport meeting on 21 April 2008.
