Little Common pedestrian and traffic improvements

In February 2007, we asked for your comments on our proposals for pedestrian and traffic improvements in the Little Common area of Bexhill-on-Sea. We proposed:

• improvements for the safety of pedestrians and cyclists
• better access for bus users
• improved traffic flow.

These improvements will help achieve the aims of the Local Transport Plan.

Final scheme design

The comments we received have been analysed and incorporated into the final scheme design which can be downloaded, below.

By law, we have to advertise changes in waiting restrictions. There will be notices in the press and on street light columns, telling you how you can comment on the proposals.

Construction of the improvements is planned for late spring 2008.

Consultation and results

Results of this consultation are available to download, below along with the original plans displayed at Little Common Community Centre.
