Provisional Local Transport Plan 2006 – 2011 (LTP2): Sustainability Assessment (SA) and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA)

To look at the environmental, economic and social impacts of the provisional second Local Transport Plan (LTP2), we have produced a Sustainability Appraisal (SA) and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA).

There were three stages to this assessment:

• set the context and identify the objectives of the SA/SEA
• develop different options and decide on the scope of the SA/SEA
• assess and weigh up the effects of the different LTP2 options.

All of our findings, including a report from October 2004 are detailed in the documents below.

The closing date for comments was Friday 27 May 2005. A statement about the SA/SEA report is included in the provisional LTP2.
