Council priorities workshops – September 2004
Every year the County Council discusses its priorities and budget plans with residents in a series of discussion workshops. The report 'Council Priorities: Community Consultation' summarises what was said in the workshops for 2004.
Although the small number of participants does not form a representative sample of the whole community, these and other results contribute to the overall process of setting council priorities.
A further report, 'Consultation with partners and residents – Phase One' outlines other ways in which the Council has sought the views of residents on this subject. This report was presented to Cabinet at their meeting on 15 December 2004.
