Bus improvements on Seaside Road, Eastbourne

Buses are already the most important form of public transport for local journeys in and around Eastbourne but we want to make them even better.

To improve bus reliability and reduce journey times, we are creating 'Quality Bus Corridors' along some of the busiest routes. The first of these corridors will be on Seaside Road.

We asked for your views on plans relating to these proposals. The plans for the Seaside bus corridor were displayed at an exhibition in Eastbourne from 20 to 27 November 2004.

The closing date for comments was Friday 3 December 2004. The exhibition plans and results of the consultation can be found in the documents below.
