A259 bus and cycle improvements

In autumn 2004, we asked for your views on plans relating to proposals for bus and cycle improvements to the A259, between Ovingdean and Telscombe.

Consultation

We asked for your comments on proposals to:

• improve bus reliability and journey times
• provide a safer route for cycles
• improve traffic flow.

They form part of a wider study of public transport and cycling facilities between Brighton and Newhaven.

Public exhibitions were held in July 2004 at Telscombe Civic Centre and Rottingdean Whiteway centre.

The closing date for sending comments was 13 August 2004.
