My politics: Councillor Bob Lacey OBE
Party: Conservative
Division: Eastbourne - Upperton
Elected: 2005
Over the next three years, I will be supporting regeneration projects across the county. I would like to see a reduction in central government's control, and a postive and sustained move towards true, democratic local government especially with regard to planning matters.
I will be working to encourage inward investment, an efficient administration, and a strong local voice.
One of the things that politics has taught me is that a political position always needs to be aggressively challenged in order for it to be proved that it is truly desirable.
