My politics: Councillor Paul Sparks
Party: Liberal Democrat
Division: Uckfield
Elected: 2005
The best thing about being a county councillor is you can improve the quality of life for many people.
In the next four years, I intend to work towards bringing in a proper flood defence scheme for Uckfield and campaign for the reopening of the Uckfield-Lewes railway.
I will also work to keep any increase in the council tax to a minimum and trying to stimulate and support businesses in the town.
