My politics: Councillor Phil Howson

Councillor Phil Howson

Party: Conservative

Division: Peacehaven & Telscombe Towns

Elected: 5 May 2005

Being a county councillor offers you the chance to meet with top politicians and other powerful people to put your views to them and influence their decisions.

Over the next term, I will be pressing to get crime and social disorder under control, addressing road safety on the A259 and ways to promote the steady growth of Peacehaven and provide the requisite amenities to the town.

I will also be fighting unnecessary or unwanted development in the town, such as extra housing and the proposed sewerage plant.

Affiliation with other bodies
