My politics: Councillor Jeremy Birch

I feel privileged to represent local people in the town in which I grew up.

I am especially keen on tackling the educational under-attainment of the young people in the East Hastings area. I want to help raise the aspirations of the local community and improve the cultural awareness and opportunities for all. I am determined to improve road and pedestrian safety within the division.

But I also want to listen to local people and find out what they feel are the priorities for the area and do my best to champion them.
