Director of Adult Social Services: Keith Hinkley

Keith is responsible for planning, commissioning and providing social care services for adults, and protecting vulnerable people from harm. A key priority is to promote independence, and support people to live in their own homes wherever possible.

Areas of responsibility include:

  • care for older people
  • care for people with mental health problems
  • care for people with learning disabilities
  • care for people with physical disabilities
  • working closely with partners in Health, Housing, Education, the independent sector, and voluntary organisations.
