How do I complain?

We will provide as much information as possible unless the information requested is exempt from disclosure.

If you are not happy with the way we responded to your request, the charges or the reasons given for being unable to supply what you wanted, please contact our Monitoring Officer to ask for a review of your case. We will review your case and normally respond to you within 21 days.

If you are not satisfied with the outcome of this review, you have a further right of appeal to the Information Commissioner.

The Information Commissioner is an independent person appointed to oversee Freedom of Information and Data Protection matters in the UK. The Information Commissioner will not consider appeals or complaints about our response to your request for information unless you have first asked us to conduct a review.
