Cultural strategy
Cultural activities are seen as crucial for the future of East Sussex. This strategy explains how we will help to support and develop the culture of the county.
Its six main aims are:
- conservation of the natural and built heritage of East Sussex and its use for cultural activities.
- life-long learning opportunities in arts and culture
- infrastructure development, including networks and partnerships
- participation opportunities to take an active part in arts and cultural activities
- promotion of East Sussex as a place where arts and culture are valued and can be enjoyed
- employment opportunities for paid employment for professional artists and performers.
