Portfolio plans

Each cabinet portfolio, or particular area of responsibility, has an individual plan that you can download below. These are published in March each year.

What portfolio plans do

The plans provide the main direction for our services over the next four years, and say how we will deliver our priorities, which we call Policy Steers.

They also describe key risks, and how we are going to respond to the financial and policy challenges.

The key targets from each portfolio plan are then brought together into one document – the Council Plan.
