"In this department we have some excellent examples of successful partnership working with District and Borough Councils and other partners to reinforce our key projects.

One example is the Pebsham Countryside Park project, which promises to become a wonderful facility for everyone to enjoy, adding to the transport and economic benefits of the Bexhill-Hastings link road.

I am immensely proud of the achievements of the department over the last year and am optimistic that the coming year will bring just as much success."
