Council Plan 2006/07 – Adult Social Care
"We are committed to meeting peoples’ individual needs through the provision of high quality services. This year we are embarking upon a programme of modernisation in line with the white paper, ’Our health, our care, our say; a new direction for community services’.
We will be looking at new ways of delivering care with our partners and modernising our services for the 21st century, to increase efficiency and improve the experience of people accessing and using our services.
We recognise the challenges facing us this year, including the difficult financial climate and increasing demand for our services.
We have, therefore, set ourselves a range of challenging but realistic targets aimed at ensuring better outcomes for people using Adult Social Care services in East Sussex.”
Councillor Keith Glazier and Councillor Bill Bentley
