Item 5 - Appointment to outside bodies

To make changes to the appointments to the Newhaven Strategic Network and Hastings, Bexhill Renaissance Ltd and Woodland Enterprises Ltd.

Item 6 - Vehicle and bicycle loan policy

To seek approval to changes to the rate of interest applied to vehicle loans and an increase to the loan ceiling

Item 7 - Amendments to the Constitution

To amend the Constitution to reflect leglislation changes and current practices

Item 8 - Role of the Audit Committee

To recommend changes to the terms of reference of the Audit and Best Value Scrutiny Committee in preparation for the CPA 2006 and to comply with CIPFA Guidance on Audit Committees

Item 9 - Public speaking at meetings of Planning and Highways Sub-Committee

To seek approval for a scheme to enable the public to speak at meetings at the Sub-Committee

Item 10 - Local Government Ombudsman's annual letter and summary of complaints and Freedom of Information requests

Item 11 - Assessment of the Corporate Governance Framework for 2005-06

To provide information on compliance with the Council's code of corporate governance and any changs to it that may be necessary to maintain it and ensure its effectiveness in practice.To gain approval of the Council's corporate assurance statement in compliance with the requirements of the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2006 in relation to statements of internal control.
