To consider two petitions requesting action to improve road safety in St. Philip's Avenue and Southbourne Road, Eastbourne
Item 5 - Tilsmore Area, Heathfield Traffic Management Scheme
To advise the Lead Cabinet Member of the results of the public consultation exercise carried out for the proposed Tilsmore Area Traffic Management Scheme and to seek approval to progress the scheme through detailed design and construction.
Item 6 - Hastings and Rother Accessibility Strategy Local Assessment
To seek the Lead Cabinet Member's agreement to the draft action plan identified through the Hastings and Rother Accessibility Assessment
Item 7 - Wealden District Local Development Framework: core strategy issues and options consultation
To seek the Lead Cabinet Member's agreement to the County Council's comments as set out in the report and to authorise the Director of Transport and Environment to submit further detailed comments as necesary
Item 8 - Lewes to Uckfield Railway Line Reinstatement Study
To seek authority to waive standing orders to allow Network Rail to be commissioned as project manager and consultant for the Lewes-Uckfield Railway Line Reinstatement study.
Item 9 - Bexhill Hastings Link Road; peer review of the Environmental Statement
To seek authority to commission the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment to undertake part of the appraisal of the Bexhill Hastings LInk Road and to waive standing orders accordingly.
Item 10 - Rural Bus Challenge 2003: Westham and Pevensey Transport
To seek approval to purchase a minibus, secure a voluntary community bus service and to waive Contract Standing Orders to pemit these arrangements.
Item 11 - Central St. Leonards Design Manual
To advise the Cabinet Lead Member of the proposed response to Hasting Borough Council's request for the County Council, as transport authority, to adopt the Central St. Leonards Town Centre Design Manual.
Item 12 - Pedestrian Crossing Facilities: priority assesssment of requests
To report the results of the priority assessment of requests for pedestrian crossing facilities.
Item 13 - Extension of Environmental Management Activity and Forward Programme
To update the Lead Cabinet Member on the progress of the Environmental Management Programme and to recommend endorsement of the programme for 2007–2008.
Item 14 - Local Transport Plan 2: Delivery Report 2007
To seek approval of the first Delivery Report on the 2nd Local Transport Plan for submission to Government.
