Item 4 - Admissions in 2010/11
To determine the admission arrangements for 2010/11
Item 5- Changes to School Admissions arrangements
To advise the Lead Member of new Regulations related to school admissions and changes to the School Admissions Code and to seek agreement to reconstituting the Admissions Forum to comply with the new requirements.
Item 6 - Capital Loans to Schools
To consider a bid made under the Capital loans to Schools Scheme.
Item 7 - Contracts with Independent and Non-Maintained Special Schools
To seek the Lead Member’s agreement to waive Contract Standing Orders to remove the need to tender for contracts with Independent and Non-Maintained Special Schools where the contract value exceeds £50,000.
Item 8 - Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) Services with Symbol
To seek the Lead Member’s agreement to waive Contract Standing Orders to extend the contract with Symbol UK for a period of 12 months commencing on 1 April 2009.
Item 9 - Hastings and Rother PCT Therapies Contract
To seek the Lead Member’s agreement to make a payment to Hastings and Rother PCT for therapy services for a period of 12 months commencing on 1 April 2009.
Item 10 Provision of Specialist Consultancy Support
To request that Standing Orders are waived in respect of the requirement for public notice, to enable an extension to existing specialist consultant arrangements to further develop the County Council’s strategy for Building Schools for the Future (BSF) and the Primary Capital Programme (PCP).
Item 11 - Aiming High for Disabled Children Short Breaks Commissioning Plan
To seek approval from Lead Members for the East Sussex Aiming High for Disabled Children Short Breaks Commissioning Plan.
Item 12 - East Sussex County Council Pledge for Children in care
To agree the Pledge for Children in Care
Item 13 - Provision of Extended Special School Services
To request that Standing Orders are waived in respect of the requirement for public notice, to enable a one month extension to existing contract arrangement for the Extended Special Schools' service in the absence of any suitable bids following the advertisement of this contract.
