Item 4 - Land at Ratton School, Eastbourne

To consider granting a lease to Active Children Ltd.

Item 5 - New contractual arrangements for Children’s Centres core service provision

To request agreement to waive contract standing orders within Children’s Centres to allow amended contracts with service providers to continue for the period of the present Children’s Centre Funding 2008–2011, subject to annual review.

Item 6 - Renewal of NCH Contract for social care services from April 2009

To request agreement to waive contract standing orders to enable the contract with NCH for family centre and private fostering services to continue.

Item 7 - Provision of Specialist Consultancy Support

To request that Standing Orders are waived in respect of the requirement for public notice, to enable an extension to existing specialist consultant arrangements to further develop the County Council's strategy for Building Schools for the Future (BSF) and the Primary Capital Programme (PCP).

Item 8 - New contractural arrangements for mentoring and support for Early Years childcare providers

To request agreement to waive contract standing orders to allow new contractual arrangements with early years childcare support charities to cover financial years 2009/10 and 2010/11.
