How can Social Care Direct help?

Adult Social Care Direct provides help for adults who find it difficult to manage daily tasks in the home. Carers should also use this service.

Our staff at the Social Care Direct contact centre can:

  • provide information or leaflets
  • take applications so our specialist workers can assess what services you may need
  • point you to other social care agencies, and
  • put existing customers in touch with their worker.

For a complete list of who can benefit from this service and the types of help available, please see our page on services for adults and their carers.
