Renewing your car badge

You need to reapply for your blue badge every three years or it will expire. We will send you a reminder and review form around six weeks before the expiry date.

If you have not received your review form within three weeks of the expiry date, you can contact the blue badge team on the number below.

Lost or stolen car badges

If your badge is lost or stolen please call the blue badge team immediately on the number below.

If you move house

If you move to a new county, you don't need to re-apply to this local authority – your blue badge is valid anywhere in Europe. But please tell us your new address so that we can post your renewal notice.

If your badge expires and you have moved out of East Sussex, you must re-apply to your new local authority.
