Talking clocks and watches
If you have a sight problem there are various specialised pieces of equipment which will help you know the time and date, and give you an audible reminder of appointments.
They vary considerably in price and complexity. They can be as simple as large print numbers and illuminated displays, or they may be linked to a screen and a miniaturised camera which you operate like a computer mouse.
Each specialist firm has a website but a good place to start for information and access to the commonly used equipment is your local Blind Society.
