What are day services?
We have day service teams across the county. Staff in each team support people to develop individual programmes of daytime activities, based on a person’s needs, wishes and aspirations.
What do day services offer?
We provide opportunities for people to:
- participate in a range of daytime activities
- develop skills for day-to-day living and achieve greater independence
- access local education colleges
- prepare for and access employment
- develop and maintain friendships
- access community and leisure services, and
- try new things and develop new interests.
How can I get a day service?
