Traffic data from previous surveys
Before requesting a traffic survey, you can contact us to find out if we hold existing data from a previous survey of the area you are interested in. A charge is made for supplying data from previous traffic surveys. You can make an enquiry using the traffic data enquiry form.
Requesting a new traffic survey
You can ask us to carry out a traffic survey on your behalf. A charge is made for this service. You can make an enquiry using the traffic survey enquiry form and we will contact you to discuss your requirements.
Work as a traffic enumerator
Would you like to work as a traffic enumerator?
Casual and temporary staff are recruited by the transport monitoring team to carry out survey and analysis work, including traffic or pedestrian counts and bus surveys.
As our surveys are carried out within East Sussex and Brighton, we only employ residents of these areas, to ensure our enumerators live near the survey locations.
You can register your interest by filling in our traffic enumerator registration form.
