Summary of major roadworks in East Sussex

Latest: A27 Southerham rail bridge, near Lewes: planned roadworks for this weekend have been postponed, due to rail engineering works. Works will now take place on Wednesday 10 February, midnight until 3am on Thursday. Traffic will pass in escorted convoys. Thursday 11 February, 8pm – 6am on Friday, further work, with temporary lane closures.Culfail Tunnel – night closures: closed 8pm to 6am, on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 January. Traffic will be diverted via Lewes high street. Work on the tunnel was due to stop at the weekend to avoid clashing with other roadworks on the A27, but this work has now been postponed.

The traffic bulletin lists information about major roadworks in East Sussex. The bulletin is usually updated weekly on a Friday afternoon and covers the period from the following Monday.
